What areas to we cover?
We cover all of the North East including: Northumberland, Newcastle, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, Sunderland, County Durham, Middlesbrough, Teesside, Cleveland and North Yorkshire. All of these areas have our travel included. We will, however, photograph your wedding anywhere in the world with agreed travel costs. We have photographed brides all over the UK from the South Coast to the North East and as far away as Chennai in India.
Can we meet you before we book?
Yes, we always meet our potential clients, this can be here, your home, a hotel, coffee shop etc.
Do we have to decide at that meeting?
No, we hold your date until we meet up with you. If we get another enquiry for the same date before we meet you, we will contact you to ensure that you still wish to meet us. After we meet we will hold the date for two weeks to give you time to decide, we will not book another couple during this time. After the two weeks we will book the date to another without contacting you first.
How to pay
You may pay by cash, cheque (payable to TR Bedson), Paypal or Google Checkout via this site.
You may pay by instalments in order to spread the cost, including the booking fee. However, all payments must be cleared four weeks prior to the wedding. Please ask us to set this up, you may pay by post dated cheques, standing order or through the website.
Any order paid by cheque will be subject to a delay of 10 working days before work commences, this is due to the withdrawal of the cheque guarantee scheme by UK banks.
How to book
Check with us to see if your date is available. If it is we will arrange a meeting between us, where we will discuss your choices and you can see the quality of our work and albums.
Fill in our Wedding Booking Form and return it to us, when we receive payment (by cheque, Pay Pal or Google Checkout) we will confirm our attendance.
We will contact you to arrange your Engagement or Pre-Wedding shoot.
About eight weeks before the wedding we will arrange to meet you again where the final arrangements, your instructions to us will be agreed and the balance of your package fee is due.
How we create your album
Following your wedding we deliver a disc containing in proof form all of the images from the day.
Choose your favourites and make notes about what you would like to see in your album.
We will meet with you and discuss your selection and make suggestions to you. We agree the general form of the album or book.
If you have chosen The Firenze, Venezia or Milano package we will create your book from your instructions and deliver a proof of all pages in a pdf form.
If you agree we will order your book to be created, if not we will take your requests for alterations and make the amendments. Only once we have the "go ahead" from you will we order your book.
Can guests and friends order prints from you?
Absolutely, we provide you with an online gallery that others can access with the access code that we give you. They order with us directly and you will not be bothered with collecting orders and money on our behalf. They will have a 10% discount if they order within 8 weeks of the gallery going online. If they order digital files and not prints, thees will be available for immediate download to their computer, they may then print from these files. Multiple size orders also attract a discount. These discounts are valid for multiple orders of the same size or product and do not have to be of the same image. EG 10 8 x 6 prints of 10 different images attract a discount, but 10 different sizes do not.
The price they will pay is displayed and the total in their shopping cart is also displayed.

Are you fully insured?
Yes we are, we hold Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. Any photographer you commision should hold these, if they don't you should question their professionalism.
What do you wear on our big day?
Robert will wear a suit, but can wear specific clothing that you request eg dinner jacket. We have heard of photographers turning up in jeans and t shirt, this is unacceptable unless the bride has requested this form of clothing.
How many images do we see?
Difficult to say, we do not specify exactly. You will see at least 3 - 4 times the number you expect to choose for your album. E.G. Venezia has 120 images, so a minimum you would see is 400.
Can we have digital files of the images?
Yes, for the Firenze, Roma and Venezia packages you recieve every image in the gallery on disc as well; you may print from these files. With the Mlano Package we offer a disc of all the gallery images for £200.
Do you offer a disc only package?
No, all packages recieve an album and you recieve every image that you choose for your album on disc as well; you may print from these files. We also offer a disc of all the images for £200.
We do not offer disc only because the risk of you loosing your images by scratching the disc etc is too high. We want you to enjoy your images for many years to come. Many never get around to printing any of the images or creating their own album.
An album is simply the best way to show your wedding images to future generations, my children get my album out frequently. We also lost our wedding video when the tape became unplayable. DVD discs deteriorate over time and suddenly become unplayable, that may happen at any time.
Are you flexible in locations? Our wedding does not follow the traditioanl routine.
Absolutely, yes we are completely flexible.
When do you do the pre-wedding shoot?
We will do the pre-wedding shoot at least 4 months prior to the wedding so that it dose not get caught up with all of the last minute wedding planning and arrangements you have to do. This also gives enough time for the guest book to be ordered, made and delivered from Italy (Venezia Package, or at additional cost).
Most couples book us more than 12 months before their wedding and we will then do this shoot during the summer before, but it depends on what theme and location the couple have chosen for their shoot.
